Motherhood sessions
Truly my top favorite. I adore capturing the love between parents and their babies, but there's something truly special about photographing a mom with her little one. It fills me with such a sense of fulfillment unlike any other session I offer. There's a unique journey through motherhood that I find incredibly moving, perhaps because I'm a mother myself. Motherhood has shaped me in profound ways, molding me into who I am today. It's possible that without my daughter, I might still be working in a factory operating a crane. But I'm grateful every day that I followed my passion for photography, allowing me to capture the beauty of motherhood for a living. So from loving on your bump, to all of the milestone sessions we may have after. I am so excited and grateful to be considered to be someone who captures this for you.
FAQ
When should I schedule my maternity session?
I would plan to schedule your maternity session around the 30-32ish week mark. Depending on your comfort, if you want your bump more formed, we could go up to 35 weeks. I wouldn't push it any closer to the due date.
What if I go into labor before our session?
No worries there! I know how unpredictable their arrivals can be. We can do a newborn session instead, or a lifestyle session. I am flexible! Any payments will be transferred to the new session, the $100 difference will be waived. Communication is key, just let me know as soon as you can if anything changes with the plan.
What should I wear?
I honestly think multiple outfits and looks are a must for a good variety in your full gallery! I have a couple of dresses in my client closet if you'd like to see those! I also would love to help guide you in finding the best outfits for our session!
NEWBORN
I am still in the beginning stages of my newborn photography journey. With the experience I have gained already I am confident in a perfect session with all of the perfect little poses and capturing and documenting your new babe in their first few days in the world. I know you hear it all the time, they change so so fast in the first few weeks. It is so important to capture those little features before they change.
A newborn session will be a longer session, a few days after you deliver baby. These typically take around 3 hours depending on baby. They are my boss. I block 4 hours usually for these sessions. I will get a some of baby with parents and siblings, and baby in a variety of props and poses. I have a constantly growing closet of props, outfits and wraps, so you just get to show up and relax I'll supply all of the props.
Sitter session
When your little one hits the milestone of sitting independently, typically around 6-7 months, we'll plan a sitter session, capturing the adorable halfway mark to their first birthday.
Sitter sessions are incredibly charming, capturing that adorable chunky stage. Whether you prefer a simple setup or want to explore decorations and themes, we can personalize the studio to your liking. Let's discuss the details and make these sessions as sweet and memorable as possible! I have a ton of ideas on outfits and props I'd like to add to the closet!
one Year
As your little one approaches their first birthday, we'll schedule this final session just in time for the celebration! Consider doing it a bit earlier, allowing you to use the pictures for a birthday post or as unique decor for their first birthday party you already know you're going to go all out for.
For this special session, we can dive into a cake smash session with a theme of your choice or we could even come up with a unique one we haven't thought of yet! If you're up for it, I can assist in gathering all the necessary decorations to bring your cake smash vision to life – just let me know your budget, and we'll make it an unforgettable celebration!
